Privacy

Eleven Eleven has no accounts, sign-in, profiles or messages. Wishes are anonymous to other visitors, but the service still processes what you submit, so absolute anonymity cannot be promised.
What we store
- The text of your wish, your browser's time zone name, and when it was written.
- A keyed, one-way hash of an anonymous token your browser keeps, and a hash of your wish text. They exist only to stop duplicates and abuse.
- Rate-limit counters, keyed by hashes. Your IP address is not stored; only a daily-changing hash of it is used for limits. Our hosting provider may still keep ordinary request logs.
- Reports you make, with a hash identifying the reporter.
What happens to your wish
Every wish goes into one shared pool. Once it passes the automated checks, and your own next 11:11 has come, it can be offered, with no sender information, to another visitor during their 11:11 window. There is no private setting: writing a wish means it may be offered.
When a visitor blesses your wish, it appears on the Wish Wall. You are not told. A wish that has not been blessed is never shown on the wall. Wishes written in an earlier version that were kept private are never offered or shown.
The Wish Wall
A blessed wish is shown on the wall with its time zone name and the time it was blessed, and no sender information. It stays there until it is removed through moderation. The hash linking a blessed wish to its sender is cleared 30 days after the blessing.
To help the Wish Wall feel alive from the beginning, some wishes shown during launch may be curated examples rather than wishes submitted by visitors.
Wishes pass an automated, pattern-based check that blocks links, contact details, threats and abusive wording. It is a simple filter and can miss things. You can report a letter or a wall wish; two different reports hold an approved wish back for review.
A small note about anonymity
Please do not write anything that could identify you or someone else: real names, addresses, phone numbers, emails, workplaces, or sensitive medical, financial or legal details. Clearing your browser data or switching device makes you a new anonymous visitor.
Cleanup routines are designed to remove rejected submissions after 30 days, earlier-version private wishes after 90 days, reports after 90 days, and rate-limit counters after a day. Deletion is best-effort and not instant. Wishes are never used as examples or for training.
